When I saw this brown leaf (roughly centre of photo) in midair, for a split second I did think I somehow might have stepped into the magical world of Harry Potter.

But this explanation was very simple - it was caught in a spiders web between two branches of a tree - a web which when I looked up from different angles was difficult to see clearly.
