Walk with the dogs

A pleasant evening, some fields already showing next years rye.

B and J came for a meal yesterday evening. I don't want to flatter myself but the chicken was excellent. I used garlic and chilli as usual but I added a teaspoon of chilli pickle and a large spoon of honey and used the pressure cooker for 15 minutes since it was already a bit late. I didn't realise that B hadn't been here before.

It's wonderful to discuss art and the mitochondrial proteome. It's amazing how one hydroxylation can change the shape of a protein. Equally it's reassuring to know that other people get rude emails too, mine pale into insignificance.
