The Piper at the Gates of (a new) Dawn

In London today for a meeting after which I went for a quick walk across Westminster Bridge.

Bagpipes played well make a massively emotive sound, and in the shadow of Parliament it seemed to be quite a statement. At one point the Piper was surrounded by a gaggle of Public Schoolboys (a little license here as they might be from any school) which I thought was particularly poetic.

Regardless of the outcome I hope that this vote will spur the country as a whole into a new era of political awareness.

As for the result of this poll I think that the actual issues have been so blurred by the personalities that it is a really hard call. You cannot believe any of them.
