It's my birthday today and Brendan planned a lovely day out for me. We caught the train to London and first had a ride on the London eye. What incredible views. Lots of photos too. We then took a trip up the Shard . More incredible views across London. It was a fine day although a little hazy so I captured many more shots here too. We were lucky enough to see Tower Bridge open for this barge so I chose this shot.
We met up with Mike (son no 2 who works in the city ) for a drink before heading home . Train delays meant that we didn't get home before 11.15 pm and missed dinner. Never mind. I had a brilliant day out :))
