Sipping Lantana Nectar

These are busy days for me and for the butterflies!

After teaching at the Barrier Islands Center, I stopped by the Eastern Shore National Wildlife Refuge and saw dozens of American Painted Lady butterflies on the lantana plants, plus one Buckeye (not pictured), one Common Sulpher, and one beautiful Long-tailed Skipper with an iridescent blue-green body.
