Safe Among the Trees

It's no wonder that Washington is called the Evergreen State. Our reward for the cold gray drip of winter are summers brimming with greenery, unequaled in their brilliance. Even now, well into September, the grandeur lingers on. I especially enjoy quiet walks amidst the tall trees. The peaceful silence is music to my ears.
