I have been to vote

There was a queue before 7am outside the local polling station to vote in the Scottish Independence Referendum - a queue! When I voted in the European elections this year, I had to dodge the tumbleweed.

First blood of voting goes to the staple which injured the poor woman manning Polling Station 1, stabbing her thumb as she tried to remove from a sheaf of forms before crossing me off the list of potential voters.

In 24 hours we should know the result...
