a long way down

I'm late posting this blip because I couldn't decide which photo to choose. It was a long day out at St Bees, partly due to the length of drive around to the west coast.

I love the cliff walk and if we had been more organised could have extended it and got a train back to the car. Next time perhaps:)

The blip choice is not what my husband liked most ........or the photo I think will get most views. It recalls the moment that I stood looking through the hole at one of the bird viewing points and saw the tiny figure of a fisherman below. I was amazed that he'd managed to get there ..... must have walked a long way around the bottom of the cliff . It also shows lots of that beautiful blue sea :)

The ice cream back at St Bees was delicious (and cheaper than in the Lakes)
