An Artist's Life

The House Song

Every time I pass this abandoned old house...its windows staring blankly at the road...I hear this song in my head. My folk group, the Fox Paws (pronounced Faux Pas) used to sing it in a popular watering hole near our university. We sang all the old folk songs in those heady days when we thought we could make a difference in the world. Three of the four of us are still in touch...and we laugh and laugh about our old days and smile about our nows.
