I want my trees back!

Last week we noticed the woodpeckers in our trees. One of the reasons why they were there is that there was plenty of food. We have pine bark beetles in our pine trees and today 2 men came out to take all the trees down. It's kind of sad that we have to say goodbye to those tall trees. Those were a reason why we liked this lot so much. There were already some of the pine trees taken out after the drought in 2010 when we started building the house, but the rest looked healthy. That is, until a month or so ago when they turned orange and then brown.
So goodbye trees, we'll miss you!
