A wonderful , sunny, positive final day of campaigning. I started in Dalmally talking to voters on the doorstep , canvassed in Loch Awe Village, had coffee at the Ben Lora in Benderloch (where my coffee kept up the electoral tradition of giving me a message) and finished up doing my last radio head to head with Alan Reid MP on Oban FM, ably mediated by Breege Smyth.

Then as I drove back to Cowal the sun went down over Loch Awe and the stunning landscape stood out in relief, on the last day of this amazing campaign which seeks only a nation worthy in every way of its great natural bounty and beauty.

Tomorrow we vote.
