Stolovaya
The dining room (now a private business) at the "4th TrolleyBus Park named after Petr Schepetilnikov" in Moscow. The park, which started with horse drawn rail carriages circa 1874, is the oldest of the transport parks in Moscow and one of the origins of the public transport system in the city. This grand old lady (or gentleman?) lasted 140 years before closure earlier this year.
Another bit of trivia: Petr Matveevich Schepetilnikov (1880-1909), after whom the trolleybus park is named, was a revolutionary Leninist, who worked as a mechanic in the park, where he headed the Committee of the Bolsheviks. Made his name in the combat brigades during the December 1905 uprising in Moscow.
I thought the blip combined a nice mixture of colors and textures and the soft evening light that is so characteristic of autumn in Russia.
Looks good viewed in LARGE.
