Charcoal Burner

… is the common name of this fungus - I've never known why, but I rather like it anyway. Sunday name - Russula cyanoxantha. It's one that has several colour variations, often purples and greens, but this one is mostly a rather nice shade of grey-green. We amassed over 150 records today - some were duplicates in different locations, and some IDs will need to be checked, but there were probably about 100 species. Not a bad day's work!
