New Rose - The Damned

It's back to a music blip today. This isn't a random one lik ewhen I did my music challenge, although I have been tempted recently to have another crack at that, ot's just that when I saw the photo this song leapt into my mind for some reason. The very first UK punk single ever released and to me far better than anything th epistols ever did. The Damned still tour today although I believe that theri drummer doesn't tour with them any more as he has a new career as a grail hunter.

Said drummer also bears a startling resemblence to a friend of Joe, Lonely Little Petunia and myself (and also possibly any Edinburgh skaters over 30) named Mikey.

Todays photo is from Sam and Alex's new garden. We visited them to collect Maddy who had stayed last night and ended up bringing Chloe home with us too. They were taking advantage of the sunshine to get ontop of their large garden which came with the new house.

On the way home I was very bad. Roz dropped me at Harvey Nicks where I was under instruction to grab some of their nice pasta, unfortunately I was suckered in and in addition to the pasta I came out with a bottle of Mas Neuf and a very expensive bar of Amedei Chuao chocolate so I ended up spending about £14 more than I was supposed to. Still I'm sure we'll enjoy it tonight.
