Shrieks

The shrieks were coming from the bathroom. To be honest I did wonder what could possibly cause my 10 year old daughter to make such a noise.

My first thought was that there was a wasp in the bathroom, but that usually means she can be seen running at speed away from it. But she wasn't. She remained in the bathroom - when I arrived she was just pointing at the corner, asking if it was a Tarantula. I assured her that these are not that common in the Lake District.

In fairness, it was quite a size. It's now roaming the Lake District countryside (at least I hope it is, rather than find it's found its way back into the house).
