Market day.
Went for a drive to Carmarthen today as it was market day. What a great place to visit, and the people are so very friendly and they talk with a musical lilt. We met some characters. This guy i have forgotten his name was on a deli stall just inside the indoor market. All the cheese you see in the blip, he makes himself ,and he also makes chilli chutney . He gave us a sample to taste of the hottest one, and it nearly blew a hole in J's underpants. It is labeled as savagely hot. I sampled a slightly milder one ,and needless to say we bought a jar of each. We also bought a piece of mild chilli cheese ,and a piece of extra mature cheddar, which has been aged for three and a half years. He also brews his own gin, whiskey and i think brandy. He was Italian but lives locally. What a guy! We had coffee in M&S and in the food hall we bought a loaf of vintage cheddar & red Leicester boule and some sausage rolls made with cheddar and smoked bacon. Tonights meal is going to be a foodies heaven. Walking back to the car ,i went into a lingerie shop and bought some lovely underwear ,which cost me more than a winter coat. It is made by a company, with the same name as one of J's motorbikes and it's not Harley I am sure you can work it out! J says that i will be firing on both cylinders! Back home now, and really looking forward to out food fest. We will definitely be going back, soon.
