To gain some rest bite from the hustle and bustle of the city, we head into Vietnam's remote northwest mountains, 1500 meters above sea level. Famous for its indigenous hill tribes and beautifully stunning rice terraces, Sapa is nestled in a mountain range near the Chinese border, known as "the Tonkinese Alps".
