The changes are beginning

There will be dramatic changes in this pukeko chick over the next few weeks. His beak and legs will turn red and his chest will turn iridescent blue with a Purply blue back. Already you can see the stubs of feathers forming in the down around his head and face. The biggest change of all will be when those tiny wing stubs you can just see, turn into the large powerful wings of an adult.
