Solidarity

We went to see Pride tonight and I really, really loved it! Its also been a few days since I had a cry and so I was due some tears, I just get easily overwhelmed by stories of overcoming adversity and the tears were free flowing for me by the end!
I learnt at the University of Essex homecoming weekend that miners protesting down here in Wivenhoe / Colchester were put up in the student towers in the 80s and there were some good photos of this.


And then we got home and Luke had mail concerning action from his own union!
