Dovedale

It's our 8 year wedding anniversary today so Mr EG took the day off work and we went to Dovedale. Had a lovely walk with the pups in the sunshine then had a fantastic meal at a gorgeous pub (The George at Alstonefield). We couldn't dally after as had to get back to collect Tobes from school. His first full day there. Don't think he liked the dinner much but seemed happy!

Massive bunch of sunflowers waiting for me at home. One of my favourite flowers which were in my wedding bouquet so very apt!

We felt sad Toby missed out on a great day so we took his bike up to Beacon Hill. He was doing really well, going pretty fast and then grabbed a handful of front brake, skidded and fell off grazing his knee and elbow. He was very upset and didn't want to get back on. But we played on the slide for a bit and he had another go on the grass. He was very brave.
