Simple things.

A day at work struggling to keep going and keep smiling, and then I saw this leaf on the path outside the office and I thought it was so beautiful that it made me forget myself for a moment.

I saw the surgeon today and he has agreed to go ahead with spinal surgery. I'm really apprehensive about it but not sure what other choice I have - I can't go on like this.
