A Long Way Down

Went to the vet this morning with Dylan for a weighing and blood test. The weight is increasing slightly, the infection has gone, the red blood cells are still a little low..

Our dear neighbour was able to look after the lad today, so we headed up to the Jura mountains for a walk. After a few false starts ( Mme SwRo was starting to sulk) we finally got to the Creux du Van - a sort of rocky amphitheatre-shaped gorge. It is approximately 1,400 metres width and 150 metres of depth. This is a view from Le Soliat. I don't think my photo really shows the scale of it, There are some people standing top-right who probably do not realise how close to the edge they are.
