another walk, another pond

Walkies from home today to the duck pond. There was a new duck there, bigger than the usual residents with white feathers round his neck in a circle. I didn't get his photo but the heron obliged by posing on the No Fishing sign.

A lifebuoy was on the footpath and freaked the pups out completely. They don't approve of anything which in their opinion shouldn't be there as it hasn't been there previously! Storm eventually built up courage to sniff it. The girls stayed on their toes leaning as far forward as they dared while yapping at it and springing backwards to get away. Very amusing for me :)
