Horst Exhibition

The Horst exhibition is on at the V&A at tht moment. So many iconic images. It’s hard not to spend ages trying to figure out his lighting techniques. He is the supreme master of spotlight lighting. Which appears so effortless but is most definately not.

I would have liked to have seen more of his Hollywood portraits It was heavy on his fashion images particularly his work with Diana Vreeland. All the models so perfectly posed with so much attention to the position of the hands.

A small collection of his male nudes feature as well. All which were from the private collection of Elton John. I had never seen them before which was pretty thrilling.
