Symi - Day 10

I was going to call this Asses, as I rushed this way too much and am not totally happy with the whole frame. On the other hand it does show quite a lot about Symi. From the ambulance in the background and the ruins up the mountain, to these guys loading up the mule train. There maybe a couple of roads around and over the island but the vast majority of abodes still cannot be reached by wheeled transport and will require legs of some sort. So, a still frequent sight is the mule train, usually packed with building materials for yet another ruin restoration. Maybe one of the ones in the background here.

Our Copenhagen colds have nearly left us now and we're begining to feel a bit more human.....a bit. So an early Blip today and out for a little social gathering up in the village Horio, part way up the mountain on the left. We'll be walking.
