Up and about before ten on a Sunday? Holy primula! I was down Leith shooting some Indy Ref stuff for college with Riot when we heard about the impromptu Yes Rally happening on the Meadows, so we took a wander up to see what was going on.

There was a diverse selection of different groups represented as ever and the vibe was extremely positive. Which makes for a good antidote to the relentless scare stories the media is now hammering out 24/7.

There happened to be a stall on Middle Meadow Walk selling "Ninja Buns" (steamed Taiwanese buns with either tofu or pulled pork) next to one of the Yes stands. Can I propose a massive expansion of Ninja Bun availability as the first order of business in an Independent Scotland. Bloody incredible.
