Evening Swim

A nightmare of a day from start to finish!! Jed couldn't find his school tie anywhere. The search for the tie was pretty much a non-starter from the beginning seeing as Rowan had helpfully tidied their bedroom the previous evening by shoving an entire bedrooms worth of stuff behind their bunk beds!! The tie hunt was abandoned and Jed had to go off to school without it knowing he would be in trouble. Poor boy is usually so organised that I couldn't help but feel sorry for him.

At work we had computer "issues" so we couldn't print out labels for the blood samples collected and the docs had to revert to paper blood forms and fill out entire wards worth which went down very well!!

I met Brian for lunch in the afternoon and called to buy a spare tie for emergencies. It's Brian's last day before returning to work after a week off.

When the boys got home from school they bickered and moaned about everything and nothing.

The most relaxing part of the day was Hovis's evening walk...with an added blue hue for good measure!!
