Time is deer

This deer skull I found on the edge of our property. I don't know how it died. We tend to view deer as both cute and a nuisance. Nevertheless it's a pity to see them die.

Time is
Too slow for those who wait
Too swift for those who fear
Too long for those who grieve
Too short for those who rejoice
But for those who love
Time is eternity
