Cat On A Cape.

My sister made this reversible cape for me when I was expecting my first child, and I used it again for when I was expecting my second.

But when I left the UK to live in Australia, I never wore it again as it is too warm here.

So it has been hanging in the wardrobe, for the last 26 years. I decided today was the day to take it out and get rid of it. I thought I'd cut up the fabric and use it for making teddy bears.

As soon as I took it down I realised moths had been at it. I've cut it up anyway, just cut round the moth holes. Tomorrow I'll wash the fabric and see if it falls apart.

Sophia just had to have a lie down on it before I began cutting!
