New blue shoes

I liked how it (almost) rhymes.

So today's been horribly dull outside. It's like it never fully became daytime. I am not looking forward to winter. Please someone tell me we can expect some late summer sunshine and a heatwave this month? I'm just not ready to transition to Autumn. We've not had the whole summer surely?

My shoes were a London purchase but I hadn't worn them til today. Unusually for new "proper" shoes they were comfy and didn't hurt my feet, apart from the top of my right foot just at my ankle bone. Weird when its just one little bit on one little foot and not the other.

I just hoovered too. How can I see so much dust on the floor in this picture?
