Dry Stone Walls
High above the Engadine valley, there are short sections of ancient stone walls with no immediate purpose, I can only assume that they were to protect the valley below from avalanches in the winter; but they are only short and not very high and do not follow a coherent pattern. They are now overgrown, abandoned and reverting back to nature.
