Thank goodness for an Old Puffer
It has been dreich all day such a difference from yesterday when it was bright and sunny. In fact we had a crystal clear night and I spent some of it outside looking at the stars. There were so many and the milky way was clearly visible.
We went to Inverness to get some more wood and then on to Merkinch to see if we could see the otter, no luck, lots of oyster catchers and curlew on the sand bank. I was really pleased to see that some one was 'doing up' the Tangle Tower, the old coastguard station. It sits right on the shore and looks like it has just been purchased, a great building so I look forward to seeing the improvements. Too misty for any decent photos so we went down to the canal. Was really pleased to see the old puffer VIC32 sitting in the Muirtown basin, blip sorted. Got home and saw that Baron had blipped it entering the canal :)
