A splash of colour for a dull day

Oh dear ... today has been one of those frustrating nothing going quite as it might days. No doubt tomorrow will bring about an improvement ... so I have resorted to my 'blip the first thing that catches your eye' approach which in this case is a fabric flower which lives on our kitchen table.

5 minute set-up: 100mm macro lens steadied on a bean bag, off camera flash on a cheap table top tripod.
