Mono-Monday: Time
This is the sundial at the University of Maryland in College Park located in the center of McKeldin Mall. In the background you can see the McKeldin Library. Theodore McKeldin was a former governor of Maryland and the sundial honors Dutch Astronomer, Uco van Wijk.
If you look LARGE, you should be able to see exactly what time of day I was there.
The University of Maryland is a public research university located about 8 miles outside of Washington D.C. It is the flagship of the Maryland state university system and has nearly 40,000 students. It sits on 1250 acres and has approximately 7500 trees. It is well- known for its beautiful red-brick Georgian buildings with the white columns. In fact there are 770 columns on campus.
