Spraying the oil seed rape

This is George my work-mate, he's spraying the young oil seed rape seedlings to protect them from a pest known as flea beetle, which chew away at the young plants.

The sprayer has booms 24 metres wide, and the tank holds 4000 litres, we apply 100 litres to the hectare therefore we can spray 40 hectares on one tankful, which is nearly 100 acres.
