Dipper in the Park
This Dipper is a regular sight in my local park. One of a pair that can be seen throughout the year. They seem unconcerned by the busy park unless dogs are closeby; this was taken within sight and sound of the children's swing park.
The river runs from Bleaklow (in the Peak District) through park into the town. I always wonder if this is the same Dipper you see from the Doctors Gate Path a few miles upstream.
I was pleased to see the Dipper today as there has been repair works taking place in the park but it was just getting on with its life.
It took many attempts to get a photo I was pleased with today as its regular spot is the darkest spot of the river and I'm a bit of a haphazard photographer.
This is my first Blipfoto and I'm not sure how regular this is going to be but hope it will be an incentive to get out and about and take better photos.
