A stones throw from my front door.
A good friend of mine, who is and has been a professional photographer for longer than I care to remember, had an essay on his blog site. The crux of it is summed up in the following:
?One may travel to wonderful places, such as Mauritius, and return with stunning images ... this is not so remarkable, as places such as this have their own beauty, and will be very fresh to one's eye. But to be a true photographer, one should be able to realize great images on every occasion within a stone?s throw of one's own front door.'
Now I'm not saying that I am a true photographer by any stretch of the imagination but I think the sentiment sums up Blip for me, so here's mine.
OK technically speaking it would be a world record stones throw but you can still see the office door if you squint.
Cheers Jon.
