L´île Saint-Louis, Paris: Pom'Cannelle

A couple of minutes' walk eastwards from Notre-Dame, l´île Saint-Louis is well worth exploring.

The main attraction at Pom'Cannelle is the Berthillon ice cream; this tiny restaurant provides excellent food and the opportunity to chat to your neighbours.

Photographic aspects:

It was a dull, cloudy day, and the light outside contrasted strongly with the artificial lighting indoors. I have taken out a lot of the red component of the interior lighting, to make the photo look more realistic. (The human brain compensates for these differences, the camera does not.)
