Lazy Day

Poorly toe was pretty sore after the gardening and walking I did yesterday so I spent a lot of today sitting, knitting and enjoying the view from the sitting room window. I was sitting outside but the breeze made it chillier than it looks! Tricky to know whether to try and straighten this up, which bit to line up, so I've left it alone!

In the fields behind the house the combine harvester was busy cutting the rest of the barley. Tractors and trailers were coming and going all day, late into the evening, a day of such good weather has to be used to the full!

Mike home on the last boat after his trip to Stirling, having managed a visit to B&Q and Homebase on the way! Always something a man needs from there!
