Tui in the Kaka Beak
It was such a beautiful morning, decided to leave the housework and go for a walk with my camera, so nice to get back to "nature" again. Took a number of interesting shots that I thought would be a blip for me.
But a bit later on I spotted a tui enjoying the Kaka Beak (the same bush that the Bellbird was in). This bush is just beside the front door, and I stood for ages with my camera watching as it checked out all the flowers on the bush, I was only about 3 metres away. The colours look pretty vivid, but there was a beautiful soft light that seemed to bring the feathers to life. When the sun came out fully, the bird looked much blacker.
