… whatcha got cooking?

This casserole is well over 30 years old - perhaps even 40. The pot I mean.

It’s seen off a few ovens in its time. Today, for the first time, it steps into the ring with the replacement for our old oven which gave up the ghost after 10 years, whilst otherwise engaged with one of Annimay’s special crumbles.

Inside is a beef stew, slowly transforming a few raw ingredients into our supper.

I dare say it’ll last another 30 years. (The pot, that is.)
