Burray Barrier Man Backblip
Friday's haar had cleared by 4:30 pm, but Saturday's mist was more intransigent. It was not a good photography day.
We left Sands o' Wright after our mushroom and bacon breakfast and worked our way slowly up to Deerness, stoppimg to several geocaches as we reached them. Our first stop was at Churchill Barrier number 4, at Burray. The dogs had a fine run. I have a soft spot for this place as we camped there overnight when we moved up to Orkney from Glenlivet.
The last time that I photographed this chap, he had a brilliant blue sky for a background. No such luck this time, just flat grey mist.
