We went to Sauvie (pronounced Sophie) Island Wildlife Refuge in Oregon. What a waste of time. This is all we saw and hundreds of 'people' crowding the beaches on the Colombia River side. The refuge is poorly signposted, we went right past the entrance & much of it cordoned off for hunting season which starts in October. There was a guy with a gun even though season wasn't here yet. Trails not sign posted. Do not recommend it to anyone. Only saving grace was a side trip to Ikea.
