Back from the Garden Centre

End of the summer..and time to replant up the boarders.

Decided it was worth driving a bit further to the very best Garden Centre in the area to choose some shrubs. Luckily I had done some pre-planning as the choice was over-whelming. And well worth the drive. Came home with six new shrubs and two new pots, a five year guarantee and some hope for winter colour!

Planting the shrubs into the boarders proved to be a bit more tricky as I really do have the worst soil in the world, further handicapped by builders who
a)did not dig out any existing rocks/stones
b) threw in their own debris for good measure
