After years of reconstruction work Penicuik House on the beautiful Penicuik Estate has reopened to the public - the cranes and scaffolding are gone & you can totally imagine it as being a Scottish Downton Abbey.

A lovely walk along the river to Penicuik ensued to help blow the cobwebs of boozy Saturday night away
