British Science Festival

In Birmingham for our British Science Festival event The Carbon Conundrum which was a huge success. It was amazing to see so many people come along on a Sunday morning to hear about carbon capture and storage!

Flight back was somewhat marred by absolute chaos at Birmingham airport, never seen such a dysfunctional security queue... Took over an hour to clear and just got to our gate on time. Poor poor show Birmingham Airport. And got into an argument with a woman who just brazenly skipped the queue and people were so speechless at how rude she was. When I questioned her, she said it doesn't matter as we all get there anyway and she's allowed to be rude and skip the queue because she's old and diabetic. The man behind me was not amused as he was older than her. Some people are just so bloody rude!
