A long way down

This young man looks very precariously positioned fishing at the edge of the canal lock but I presume he was confident in what he was doing. I liked the space on the right side of the frame - making his situation appear more perilous than it really was, I'm sure. The distant lock completes the dissection of rectangles where he stands.

This was taken at Clobberhill Lock No 29. Clobberhill Locks are a flight of 5 locks in close succession as the Forth and Clyde Canal descends to Lock No 32. The five locks are arranged in an upper group of three and a lower pair with a left-hand bend separating the two parts of the flight.
