away from town

I visited my ex and his partner today. They live on an amazing number of acres with cows and a garden and Queen Anne's Lace thrown carelessly about as though their yard actually was a Miyazaki film. Their garden is bountiful and their dog, Bastille, is a very happy fellow.
I probably took better photos today, but this pic actually kind of feels like what it is to be in the country. To me. The only better portrait of it would be catching the driver of a pick-up truck waving to me, as they wind around a mountain road. But for now this'll do.
