River jetties

Out and about again today and I headed down towards the St Johns River. En route nothing really caught my eye, so I kind of put my faith in the river providing a suitable shot for today's photo.

With a stiff breeze blowing, the water was quite choppy, although the waves were nothing like some I have seen recently taken by other Blipfoto contributors. You know who you are. :)

This shot, with the two jetties and the view towards the Mathews Bridge in the distance, seemed like the best one to me. And it is too late now to go out and take another shot.

I mean, come on, it beats a shot of the grocery store, where I am headed next to do the weekly shopping.
