Near miss

It took ages to focus & then C picked the plate up just as I press the button. We had goat shanks for dinner. It was the first time either of us had had goat. C cooked it in a brandy, red wine, onion, date & garlic sauce. He can do it again (Hy mag maar!)

We went to have our hair cut this morning & got a few interesting cuts of meat from Jamie. Other than the above we also got a rabbit, hare saddle, Dexter flat rib & boerewors made according to a recipe from one of his other South African customer's dads who has a butchery in Kaapstad. We'll have that tomorrow for brunch.
